NEW: Volunteer Program in Cádiz with SoloSurf – A Unique Experience for You
If you want to spend your exchange in Cádiz, you can take part in an extraordinary volunteer program: SoloSurf, first professional center for therapeutic surfing in Europe. The organization is described as one of the key organizations in the development of therapeutic surfing for people with autism and cognitive neurodivergence and supports more than 100 participants each year.
What will you do as a volunteer?
You will accompany a child or teenager with autism or a similar disability during their weekly therapy sessions:
- Surf therapy on the beach in summer (approx. 2 hours)
- Water therapy in the indoor pool in winter (approx. 1.5 hours)
You take part once or twice a week , always in the same group and with the same participant, so you can build trust and a meaningful connection.
